Dr. David Wood specializes in using modern imaging technology to guide minimally invasive, targeted therapies for a range of health issues.
Dr. Wood earned his MD at the University of Southern California, before continuing his education there for a specialist in Diagnostic Radiology and a sub-specialty in Interventional Radiology. He is board-certified in both Diagnostic Radiology and Interventional Radiology.
For 11 years he was Chief of Interventional Radiology and Chair of the Endovascular Committee at Banner-University Medical Center (previously Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center) in Phoenix, Arizona.
His work with liver cancer has garnered national attention, and he lectures about it both locally and at national conferences.
Dr. Wood delivers micro-invasive outpatient therapy in a boutique, tailored environment in his private office. Areas of expertise include uterine fibroids, pelvic congestion syndrome, May-Thurner syndrome, prostate enlargement, and peripheral artery disease, among others.
Dr. Wood likes spending time with his wife and six children and going to baseball games when he is not practicing medicine.
